It's no secret that our Secretary Of State, Brian Kemp, has done a shameful job of protecting the integrity of our vote in Georgia. We are using obsolete, 16 year old digital voting machines that have proven to be vulnerable to hacking, and which have no paper ballot backups to provide auditing. The scandal around the improper storage and wiping of hard drives containing voting information at Kennesaw State University is only more proof that we need elected officials who take seriously the sanctity of our elections and voting processes. I support the current bi-partisan legislation in the house to return Georgia to a system of paper ballots.
